Cameras Allow Parents to Watch Kids at Daycare While at Work
N. Canton, OH-- July 23, 2002 -- Are all the negative news stories about children at daycare centers worrying you? Do you wish you could see your little angel's face while you are at work? Well, thanks to ABSeeCams now you can! That's right, while at work all you have to do is turn on your computer, log on to a website, and observe your child at daycare.
ABSeeCams, after extensive research and development, is launching their Internet broadcasting video monitoring system to daycare centers nationwide. For A Child Child Care and Learning Center, ABSeeCams' pilot site, is located at 1300 S. Main St. in North Canton. They have four cameras in three different rooms: one in the infant play area, two in the toddler area, and one in the preschool room. The cameras can be placed almost anywhere the daycare center prefers. While For A Child chose to have only four cameras, six cameras are ideal for the ABSeeCams video monitoring system.
ABSeeCams deals directly with the daycare centers and only charges them for their services. Parents wishing to use the service will not receive any bills from ABSeeCams, making it easier for both the parents and the daycare center. The packages that come with all ABSeeCam video monitoring systems include: installation of all hardware and software, support, and a personalized website for the daycare facility that includes interactive calendars, lunch menus, a virtual tour, photos, and announcements. The daycare's new website has two sides to it: a public side that has advertising and general information, and a password protected side with the streaming video and other information that only pertains to the parents and daycare administrators. For further security, the user names and passwords can be changed on a regular basis.
Even the employers of parents can benefit from ABSeeCams. Using this system can calm the high anxieties of first time parents. This can help the employee function better in their job and reduce the number of personal phone calls to check on their children. To discourage unnecessary extended viewing, parents are automatically logged out after a time interval chosen by the daycare.
